How do I register with Chase?

Click on the ‘Get Started' link on the homepage of whatsyourchase.com. Enter your first name, last name, mobile number, email id and password. Click on 'Signup” and you are registered with us.

Is it necessary to register for booking a meeting?

Yes, it is necessary to register to browse as well as choose mentors from your selected domains.

Why am I being asked for my Mobile number?

Well, the simplest reason being that it is for the security of your transaction and also so that the meeting confirmation can be sent to you via SMS. What's more, you also get the dope on discounts and offers.

Before booking a meeting

Is it necessary to complete my profile before booking a meeting?

Profile completion is highly recommended but not mandatory as it helps your mentor to deliver an improved meeting experience for you.

How much in advance can I book a slot for my meeting?

You can book your meeting slots from a minimum of 72 hours from the time of booking.

Can I choose my own preferred time slot?

Yes, you can pick your preferred time slot for the meeting, from the available time slots for the mentor.

How many meetings can I book in one transaction?

Only 1. For making more than 1 booking you need to follow the process again.

Is there a telephone number where I can contact you and book my meetings?

During booking meetings

How can I confirm whether my meeting has been booked?

As soon as your meeting is confirmed, a confirmation e-mail and SMS containing your meeting details is sent across to the contact details entered while booking.

I booked meetings through the website but did not get the confirmation email / SMS.

After Booking Meetings

How much time before the meeting do I have to log-in?

We encourage our chasers to log-in at least 5 minutes before the start of the meeting to ensure there are no technical delays.

My meeting number is 9*****6 Can you check and revert if my meeting is confirmed?

You will be notified on email and SMS when your meeting is accepted by the Mentor. You can expect this typically within 24-48 hours. Alternatively, all details are available on www.whatsyourchase.com Please login with your username and password. Then check the Lounge section, which will show a list of all your meetings. I accidentally booked my meeting for <this date> instead of <that date>, can you change the meetings?

Currently you can call us at 91-7760968384 or write to us at help@whatsyourchase.com to reschedule the meeting. Or you can cancel the meeting and book again. There is no cancellation charge if cancelled within 24 hours of booking.

Can I change my time-slot?

Yes, if the mentor has not accepted your request yet, you can change your time-slot. Otherwise a small penalty must be paid.

Can I cancel my meeting?

As per our policy, once a meeting has been paid for, it is deemed booked. If it is cancelled within 24 hours, 100% refund. If you cancel after 24 hours you will only get a partial refund of 50%.

What should I expect from my meeting?

Our mentors follow this simple strategy of Understand  Insights  Action. However, we advise our mentors to end each interaction with a chaser with 1 or more Next Steps across these 3 areas

    For Example - Check out Coursera courses, solve a problem on kaggle, attend seminars, Speak to few references, reach out to broader network, provide research topics, etc.

    For Example – Recommend learning institutions, certifications or degrees required, etc.

Do I need to prepare for the meeting?

You do not need to prepare for the meeting per se but having a bit of clarity about the questions you would like to ask your mentor will help in your conversation with him/her.

How does the meeting happen?

The meeting takes place on our website where we bridge you with the mentor over an audio/video call.

Payments

What are the modes of payment available to book meetings?

We have the below modes of payment available for purchasing meetings:

My meeting is not confirmed, but my debit/credit card has been charged? What do I do?

This is a very rare situation and can occur in case of a network fluctuation at the time of confirmation of the transaction. Please call us @ +91-7760968384 or write to us at help@whatsyourchase.com and we will issue a reverse request for the charge on your card, the same day to the bank.

The refund has still not been credited in my bank account

As per our company policy, we send a reverse request to the bank by the end of the day. Depending on each bank's policy, it can sometimes take up to 10 working days for the reversal to take effect.

Despite several reminders, the refund is still not reflecting on my card.

As per our company's policy, a reversal request is sent to the bank by the end of the day from our end. It can take up to 10 working days for the reversal, depending upon the card issuing bank for the amount to reflect in your account. Can I book my meeting without my debit/credit card since I don't want to disclose my card details?

All credit card and debit card payments on WhatsYourChase are processed through secure and trusted payment gateways managed by leading Indian banks. Banks in India now use the 3D Secure password service for online transactions, providing an additional layer of security through identity verification.

I had booked a meeting through whatsyourchase.com, but the meeting has been cancelled by the mentor. How do I get the refund?

In case of mentor not showing up, the amount will be refunded to you within a week in addition with a small gift coupon from our side. If it has been longer than a week, please contact us on +91 7760968384 or email us and we will take this up on priority and ensure the refund is done immediately.

What happens if the mentor does not show up?

If for some reason the mentor is not able to join/show up. We will refund the complete amount within 7 days & help you schedule the next meeting.

What happens if I am not able to hear to anything from mentor or mentor is not able to hear me or lot of disturbance is there in the connection?

If you are not able to hear the mentor or vice-versa, we suggest to drop-off and reconnect. If the problem persists, please click on the “report issue” button on the meeting screen and we will help you to reschedule.

What happens if the call drops during middle of the conversation?

If due to some reason you/the mentor is dropped off during the call, we suggest reconnect/waiting for the mentor to join back again. If the problem persists, please click on the “report issue” button on the meeting screen and we will help you to reschedule.

How qualified are your mentors?

We strongly believe in the 10000-hour rule, which states that to be an expert in a domain one needs to practise it for a minimum of 10000 hours. ~85% of our mentors have more than 6+ years of experience in their respective fields.

What happens after the meeting?

Once your meeting is done with the mentor, the chaser is requested to the rate mentor on parameters like quality of interaction, quality of mentor etc. and the mentor shares a De-brief report covering the recommendations and suggestions as a part of next-step for the chaser.
